Governance
ANN has been established with a new, robust governance framework to provide structural protection for editorial independence.
ANN adopts a clear separation between editorial authority and corporate decision-making, which ensures we prioritise accountability, and regulatory compliance. An independent Board is responsible for corporate oversight and financial governance, while local leadership remain entrusted with editorial output, staffing and daily decisions within their newsrooms. This framework is supported by a group-wide Editorial Council that supervises standards, ethics, and compliance without interfering in day-to-day decisions. This ensures governance alignment across markets, reduce institutional risk, and provides durable safeguards for our trusted journalism across Southeast Europe.
